Dried Flower
Indica, sativa and hybrid strains from Ontario's best growers.
Dried flower is the most popular form of legal cannabis in Ontario, and for good reason — it gives you the fullest expression of a strain's terpene profile, the widest range of effects, and the most flexibility in how you consume it. Golden Tree Cannabis stocks a deep, rotating selection of indica, sativa and hybrid flower from Ontario's leading licensed producers across all four of our retail locations.
Whether you're after a balanced daytime hybrid, a heavy indica for unwinding, or a craft small-batch sativa, our budtenders can help you match strain, THC level and terpene profile to the experience you're looking for. Every gram is OCS-supplied, lab-tested and packaged in compliance with Health Canada regulations.

What to look for in flower
Strain type
Indica strains tend toward relaxing, body-heavy effects. Sativas lean energetic and cerebral. Hybrids blend both — most modern strains are technically hybrids leaning one direction or the other.
THC and CBD content
Higher THC (20%+) means stronger effects, not necessarily better. New consumers should start in the 10–18% range. CBD-dominant or 1:1 strains are worth considering if you want lighter effects.
Terpenes
Terpenes shape both the aroma and the effect. Myrcene leans sedating, limonene leans uplifting, pinene leans clear-headed. Check the COA on the package for the dominant terpenes.
Format
We carry whole flower (best for grinders), milled/ground flower (convenient), and craft small-batch jars (premium presentation and slow-cure).
Frequently asked
What's the difference between indica, sativa and hybrid?
Indica strains generally produce more relaxing, body-focused effects and are popular for evening use. Sativas tend to be more energetic and cerebral, making them better for daytime. Hybrids combine traits of both — most modern strains are hybrids leaning one direction or the other.
How should I store dried flower?
Keep it in an airtight container away from light, heat and humidity. A glass jar in a cool, dark cupboard works well. Properly stored flower stays fresh for 6–12 months.
What does the THC percentage actually mean?
It's the total potential THC by weight in the flower. A 20% THC strain has roughly 200 mg of THC per gram. Higher isn't always better — start low if you're new or returning after a break.
Can I order dried flower for delivery in Ontario?
Yes — all our delivery locations (Brampton, Shelburne East and Shelburne West) offer same-day delivery on dried flower. You must be 19+ and show valid ID at the door.
Is everything you sell legal and lab-tested?
Every product comes through the Ontario Cannabis Store supply chain, is sourced from Health Canada licensed producers, and includes a certificate of analysis covering potency and contaminants.
